In & Out Donuts

Located on West California Avenue, In & Out Donuts is a sparkling clean place with friendly staff. The donuts are made fresh every day, and you can eat in or get your order to go. Along with regular donuts, you can get a twist, bear claw, cinnamon roll, apple fritter, and more. Breakfast items include kolaches, croissants, biscuits, burritos, and muffins. If you want your donut fix early, In & Out is open from 4:30 a.m. every day and closes at 2 p.m.

Daylight Donuts of Ruston

Family owned and operated Daylight Donuts on Monticello Drive/Highway 167 North offers fresh, hot donuts and more. Whether you eat in, order to go, or use the drive-thru, you’ll be made to feel like family. Get your favorite plump donuts, or you can try the regular or jalapeno kolaches, ham wraps baked in sweet dough, or sausage or chicken biscuits. Daylight Donuts opens from 5:30 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday through Friday and 6 a.m. to noon on weekends.

Nana’s Donuts

If you want moist, melt-in-the-mouth freshly baked donuts, it’s worth the drive to Farmerville to visit Nana’s Donuts. It’s located in a quaint building on Monroe Street and features a drive-thru or you can sit in. Sometimes they get the urge to bake something special, so you might find tasty apple cinnamon turnovers, raspberry glazed turnovers, or powder sugar lemon turnovers. You can also get breakfast sandwiches and kolaches. They are open 5 to 11 a.m. Tuesday through Sunday.

Donut Palace

The Donut Palace on North 7th Street in West Monroe has been owned and operated by the same family for many years. This cute breakfast shop offers you donut holes, jelly-filled donuts, and cake donuts. If you’re in the mood for something more savory, you can get croissant sandwiches with eggs, bacon, sausage, turkey ham, cheese, and more. For lunch, give the hot links a try! They’re open daily from 5 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Super Donut

If you’re passing through Minden, west of Ruston, check out Super Donut on Homer Road. The staff at this super friendly donut shop will always make you feel welcome, and it has awesome displays of donuts with so many different toppings of all colors. Their savory treats include croissants, kolaches, biscuits, and tacos. Super Donut is open from 5 a.m. to noon.

Bestz Donuts

Another friendly spot to visit in Monroe is Bestz Donuts on Louisville Avenue, which has indoor seating and a drive-thru. Their fancy treats include cinnamon bear claws, twists, and rolls, apple fritters, bow ties, and eclairs with white cream. For savory items, you can choose burritos, biscuits, croissants, and kolaches with a variety of fillings. They open at 4 a.m. daily.
